Tommy Bell took this zebra at 12 yards with a Bighorn 58-pound recurve and a 700-grain Hickory arrow with a Zwickey broadhead. The arrow passed through both lungs and cut the top of the heart. Tommy was hunting with PH Kruger Human of Kudu Trails in South Africa near Bloemfontein.

Mark Jones, USA, shot this fine buffalo with a 80 pound Javaman longbow, using a 1 450 grain carbon arrow with a solid copper wire inside. The arrow was tipped with a 160 grain Grizzly broadhead. he shot the animal over a distance of 9 yards and it fell within 150 yards. The arrow penetrated 14 inches and pierced the heart. Mark hunted the buffalo on Excellence Ranch, situated on the banks of the Olifant River near Hoedspruit.
