Mark
Jones, USA, shot this fine buffalo with a 80 pound Javaman longbow, using
a 1 450 grain carbon arrow with a solid copper wire inside. The arrow was
tipped with a 160 grain Grizzly broadhead. he shot the animal over a distance
of 9 yards and it fell within 150 yards. The arrow penetrated 14 inches
and pierced the heart. Mark hunted the buffalo on Excellence Ranch, situated
on the banks of the Olifant River near Hoedspruit. |
